I have doubts about their viability, so I’m reclaiming the clay by submerging them in water. I look through old photos and videos of my kids and they’re always wearing something I either made or mended - or both! I don’t make or mend as much of their clothing as I used to, but I remember the version of me who did that work. Whatever I’m making or mending, the over-the-top sentimentality seeps through.
