Pottery on the Wheel Classes ~ Thursdays ~ 12 weeks ~ Spring ~ Women Only

$375.00
  • Dates: Thursdays April 2 - June 25 (week of Memorial Day off)*

  • There are two timing options: 3 - 5 pm and 5 - 7 pm

  • Women 16+ only

**DISCLAIMER - my father is currently in hospice, so there’s a strong possibility that I may need to cancel one or more classes - if this is the case, all participants will be refunded the value of any classes canceled.

Spring is almost here and it’s the perfect time to learn to throw pottery on the wheel! I’ve been throwing on the wheel 10 years and have set up my home garage studio with two wheels, a kiln, and all necessary supplies. Throwing clay is a sensory experience like no other. Our bodies were meant to interact with the earth and this is one incredible way to reconnect to our fitra.

Classes will be tailored to the level of the students. For beginners, expect to learn the basics of throwing, trimming and glazing. Practicing pottery is about more than just producing pottery - it’s about becoming a potter. Don’t expect to take home large amounts of work (students are limited to 10 pieces per session), but do expect to build knowledge that is embedded in your heart and mind.

Open Studio is also included - Tuesdays 11 am - 2 pm and Wednesdays 5 pm - 8pm.

*Please note, cleaning the space after you work is expected.
