There is so much beauty and barakah in our lives that we can unlock by creating with intention. I have over 10 years of experience with all of the home arts we will be practicing together and I’m so excited to share what I’ve learned over the years. There’s a reason that historically women have gathered communally to work. Let’s reconnect to what our ancestors knew.
Lessons by Week:
Natural Dyeing featuring indigo
Knitting
Embroidery featuring Kufic cross stitch
Harvesting resources from pre-loved materials (yarn from sweaters, fabric from clothing, etc.)
Cold process Soapmaking and Lip balm making
Quilting
Ceramics on the wheel
Each class will include 2 hours of hands-on instruction and materials. Resources will also be given for a deeper dive if this is an area of interest for you. The order of classes will be partially determined by weather.
